Term Definition
Logic Model A map showing how specific, concrete activities are connected step-by-step to large, long-term changes.
Theory of Change A statement of reasoning that explains why one level of a Logic Model leads to the next, often structured as “If/And/Then/Thereby.”
Outcome 1000 The Ultimate Outcome of the RWVL project, aiming for increased enjoyment of human rights by women and girls and advanced gender equality in Nigeria.
Output (Level 1) The direct products or services delivered by an organization (e.g., training sessions, products distributed).
Immediate Outcome (Level 2) Changes that occur directly after an output is delivered, such as acquired skills or shifts in beliefs.
Intermediate Outcome (Level 3) Systemic-level changes, such as policy implementation or strengthened institutional capacity, that support the ultimate goal.
Short-circuiting The error of reporting an activity (output) without demonstrating the change it produced (outcome).
Feminist MEAL A monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning approach that examines power, fairness, and inclusion to redistribute power through the evaluation process.

Intersectionality A cross-cutting principle that examines how various social identities and power structures affect participation and barriers.
Localization A cross-cutting principle emphasizing that work and solutions should be rooted in and led by local contexts and organizations.
Equity The practice of providing specific support based on individual needs to ensure everyone has the same opportunity to participate, as opposed to providing identical treatment to all.
Sexual Intrusion Actual or threatened sexual intrusion by force or under coercive conditions.
